I am Maritza Martinez Mejia from Colombia and reside in Florida with my husband. I graduated in Theology and Educational Ministry from Catholic Distance University; Class 2022. I am honored to assume the position of Student Life Manager for the Spanish Programs.
After completing my master’s degree, I felt blessed and utterly grateful for CDU's fully online programs. My studies have helped me grow, not only in knowledge, but have also strengthened my faith. I have been active as a parish catechist at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in the Diocese of Palm Beach since 2006. Theology studies have enriched me spiritually, intellectually, and personally. My work as a catechist, educator and future roles will benefit from these studies which helped me grow in knowledge and strengthen my faith. TOTALLY GRATEFUL to receive my master’s degree with CDU.
